The Attic Theatre and Film Center, the hottest coolest little theater in L.A. located at 5924 West Washington Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90016, will open the Los Angeles premiere of "UG" on Friday, January 19th, 2007. This romantic, doo-woppy, honky tonkin', drum beatin', porcupine eatin', club clompin', hilariously clever stone age musical comedy will play Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 8 PM through February 24th. Witness the dawn of show business as vicious egos collide with fame seeking carnivores, sexy cavewomen, and cranky bearskin designers all for the sake of telling a story on stage. Even before there was "no business", these Neanderthals invented "show business"!

Some of the shows Jim Geoghan has written for are PUNKY BREWSTER, FAMILY MATTERS, IT'S GARY SHANDLING'S SHOW, THREE'S COMPANY, SILVER SPOONS, and KATE AND ALLIE. He also wrote material for such comedy stars as Rodney Dangerfield, Joan Rivers, David Brenner, and Freddie Prinz Sr. His critically acclaimed play ONLY KIDDING ran 500 performances Off-Broadway at the Westside Arts Theater.
Directing "UG" will be The Attic's Artistic Director and veteran TV and film actor Jerry Kernion who recurs in Geoghan's SUITE LIFE as crazy Chef Paolo. Exec producers are James Carey, John Szura, and Geoghan. Kernion and Christine Stump produce.
